Leesa was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. She also has a condition called chiari malformation type 2. These issues are causing the nerves in her brain to shut down which is affecting her hearing, sight, speech, and her ability to swallow. Leesa is terminally ill and her long time dream has been to meet Dolly Parton. Dolly has arranged to meet her in person at the Dollywood Park in Tennessee but it is quite costly to travel there. Please come out and support us in raising the funds to send Leesa to meet the person she calls her "guardian angel."

A Grief Support Group offered in partnership by Hospice Northwest and the Alzheimer’s Society of Thunder Bay. It is available to anyone grieving the death of a loved one. The group runs for six weeks on Tuesday evenings starting February 14, 2012. Please register to attend.
